I like to put my head under my blanket and tuck the sides underneath of me and listen to the outside noises until their drowned out by a unique moment of silence.

The warmth I feel is a mixture of my body heat and my blue microplush faux cocoon.

It reminds me of a time when I was in the womb and all I could hear were muffled outside sounds and rhythmic heartbeats...those rhythms brought me and a great deal of self identification.

Now, as I experience this moment; nothing else matters just the awareness of self and the peacefulness that I enveloped myself into... it’s indescribable even if it’s just for a moment, it feels like a beautiful moment... that has no strings attached to it...just pure silence... minus the beat of my heart.
