Liberty & Passion

Liberty: shore leave granted to a sailor.

I chose the nautical definition of liberty because we are operating from the center aka the navel.

Shore leave is just another term for leisure. When you consider the current state of affairs; we were literally given instructions from the Most High to use the pandemic opportunity to tap into your gifts and create a new "world" for yourSelf. This can also be considered a Sabbath. This is the first time in the history of the US (since the workforce began) that people have taken their power back. Corporations and businesses have used our energy to build their dreams and their visions and what did we get out of it? I remember when I was in the workforce full time, I had supervisors that threatened to fire me if I didn't come in because I may not have had a babysitter, or I was sick or my children were sick. The system was working so well that other human beings started to mimic the system.

Exchanging your time and energy for a wage that won't even pay rent, sitting in a building under artificial lights, and just dealing with the negativity and toxic situations that arise in corporate America is insane. Imagine working over 40 hours a week and the money you receive isn't enough to feed your family or just sustain your day-to-day life. That kills the spirit and it kills your creativity. It is very rare to find a job that allows you to be yourself and shine. I enjoy diving into my individuality whether that is creating something amazing, changing my hair, or even my clothes.

I had a supervisor who once told me "why do you change your hair so much? My wife gets the same style all the time every time; it must be a black thing". I also had a supervisor tell me that I was doing an amazing job but still overlooked me for a promotion because of the color of my skin and my sex. I have been made to feel like I wasn't enough despite going the extra mile. A supervisor I had, who btw was a black woman, almost a bit darker than I am, tell me that she doesn't care for brown skin women while sitting in a room full of white men and myself.

All these supervisors remind me of the system- the heartless, cold, unrelatable system that has no innerstanding of a grey area, empathy, or leading with love. This time to tap in is long overdue...not just for me but you too. Those supervisors are not designed to be that way however they are programmed by a system that has them fast asleep- they did the bidding for the system. There are people out there working in call centers to threaten others about losing their homes meanwhile, they are late on their own bills. How is this acceptable? But they do it for nothing but a few bucks an hour.

Every day that I had to walk in these buildings was a chore. I felt like a piece of me was dying. But I still decided to show up every day. I did not once consider that I wasn't showing up for me...until June of 2016. That is when I made the decision to stop selling my soul for pennies and tap into my passions which is an inexhaustible source of wealth...which leads me to my next point.

Passion: This is a tricky word because the system wants you to believe that passion only relates to two things; the suffering of Christ and sexual energy. The word passion actually relates to you naming things or aka putting things in their correct place. In the bible, there is a story in Genesis that says God told Adam (Atom) to name things- all things. We were programmed to think that only had to occur once because we see a world in front of us. However, with each soul that enters into this system; their job is to create their own world- not depend on a propped up replica that only wants to take take take. Had I known this; I would have been able to call those things as I saw them prior to 2016.

I used to think ugh I have no talent, I can't sing, I can't dance, God must have skipped over me when it came to handing out passions. But your passion is actually the thing you do without getting paid for it. You still show up because it is something that motivates you, something internal. I have been working on my blog since 2016 and I don't even have 50 subscribers total between seven4teen.com and my Youtube channel but I continue to do it because it makes me whole and it allows me to evolve. When I need funds for something, the Most High sends it to me. We are also programmed to live above our means. If we hoard millions of dollars, how does that help humanity? It doesn't, but if I stick to my passions and I am in a position where I now need a couple million; I will receive it. There is a difference between needs and wants. Self-explained to me that consciousness will never fulfill my wants...never; but my needs, they will always be met. The more I follow my passion, the more I store up riches and when I NEED them; they will be given to me accordingly.
